Regional Marketing and Leasing Specialist

Campus Life & Style, Austin, TX

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Regional Marketing and Leasing Specialist to join the Campus Life & Style corporate team. Reporting to the SVP of Marketing and Leasing, this position will be responsible for assisting in various leasing functions for our portfolio of properties. The position will require approximately 90% travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop weekly, monthly, and annual marketing plans to ensure sufficient traffic. This should be done in conjunction the local team with resources and staffing available to properly execute on plans.
  • In conjunction with the local manager, take ownership in establishing and nurturing relationships that will generate qualified traffic and other marketing opportunities. Gatekeepers include university officials, business partners, networking with resident base and more.
  • Assist with the management of third-party marketing and leasing tools/resources.
  • Regularly review all marketing sources and update with best sales messages and offers.
  • Maintain market source list within Entrata and carefully note which drive traffic.
  • Establish, implement, and monitor leasing goals and renewal programs to meet required occupancy. In collaboration with the local team, create a clear goal board with a creative them to encourage enthusiasm with every completed lease.  Team rewards and contests are to be created at the discretion of the Manager and Regional Director.
  • Focus on training that affects the sales process including curb appeal, the tour path, sales training, follow up process and expectations, and any additional skills or tools needed to maximize leasing efforts.
  • Assist Managers to maintain a positive reputation, and relationship with school and community.
  • Partner with Leasing Manager, Regional Marketing Specialist, General Manager, and Regional Director to ensure a seamless partnership with all marketing functions and assist with any marketing or leasing initiatives as they arise.
  • Assist with any project or initiative as directed by supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of student housing experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Mature leadership skills
  • Goal oriented
  • Strong public speaking skills preferred
  • Ability to plan, multi-task, and manage time effectively
  • Must be willing to travel 90%
