Elliot J. Tamir
Co-Founder and Chairman
Elliot J Tamir is Co Founder and Co Chairman of CLS Living and Vesper Holdings, with over 35 years of experience in the real estate business including residential, commercial, development and parking.
Mr. Tamir is known for his superb investment, redevelopment and management strategies, spearheading the enhancement and transformation of property values throughout the CLS/Vesper owned and managed portfolio. His vision to create an unparalleled five star resident experience, a best in class workplace environment, an unrivaled company culture and groundbreaking style and design has been a primary contributor to the overwhelming success the portfolio has enjoyed to date.
Mr. Tamir serves on the board of various charitable organizations including The Grammy Museum, Propel Network, The Amtrak FOP and Apex Care Foundation.

Isaac J. Sitt
Co-Founder and Chairman
Mr. Sitt is Co Founder and Co Chairman of CLS Living and Vesper Holdings, one of the country’s leading firms with over 30,000 beds under management. He oversees all property acquisitions and focuses on private equity real estate investments in both commercial and residential properties. He directs all debt and equity placements for the company.
Throughout his career, Mr. Sitt has invested in, developed and managed retail and residential real estate. He utilizes an in-depth understanding of the industry to lead the company in acquiring its rapidly expanding portfolio of assets located throughout the country.
Mr. Sitt is a graduate of the NYU Stern School of Business and sits on the boards of several charitable institutions.

Dan Shoepe
Chief Operating Officer
Dan Shoepe brings more than 25 years of property management experience to his role as Chief Operating Officer at CLS Living. Before being named COO, Mr. Shoepe served as Senior Vice President of Operations at CLS.
Prior to joining company, he spent time as a Regional Vice President at American Campus Communities where he was responsible for fiscal operations, asset management, leasing, and personnel oversight for a 35-property portfolio.
At CLS, Mr. Shoepe is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, optimizing property performance, and driving organizational efficiency across the company’s portfolio.

Joseph Hughes
Chief Financial Officer
Joseph Hughes brings more than 25 years of experience to his role as Chief Financial Officer at CLS Living. He began his career as a Financial Analyst at American Campus Communities and advanced to lead Financial Planning & Analysis.
Mr. Hughes managed budgeting, forecasting, and public reporting for over 200 communities and gained site-level experience as a Regional Manager.
At CLS, Mr. Hughes is responsible for ensuring compliance of financial institutions, along with budgeting, risk management and financial planning and analysis.

Jessica Nix
Chief Marketing Officer
Jessica Nix brings over 20 years of experience to her role as Chief Marketing Officer at CLS Living. Prior to joining CLS, she founded JNix Consulting, offering strategic marketing and lease-up services across property types.
Mrs. Nix began her career as a community advisor and rose to become VP of Marketing at Peak Campus Management.
At CLS, Mrs. Nix is responsible for leading brand strategy, overseeing all marketing initiatives, and aligning growth efforts with company-wide objectives to maximize market presence and impact.

Geary Dancy
EVP, Operations
Geary Dancy brings over 20 years of experience to his role as EVP, Operations at CLS Living. Mr. Dancy has held several operational roles including General Manager, Regional Director, and Senior Vice President of Operations.
At CLS, Mr. Dancy is responsible for leading portfolio-wide operations with a focus on optimizing performance, enhancing processes, and developing internal talent through strategic training and mentorship.

Laurie Lyons
EVP, Strategic Ventures
Laurie Lyons brings over 30 years of experience to her role as EVP, Strategic Ventures at CLS Living. A recognized industry leader, Ms. Lyons actively serves on NMHC and NAA boards and committees and contributes to the NMHC PAC. She co-founded BH Management and became the first female CEO on NMHC’s Top 50 Managers list.
She has held leadership roles across Cardinal Group, Bainbridge, Pegasus, and US Residential across asset classes including multifamily, affordable, and senior housing.
At CLS, Mrs. Lyons is responsible for driving strategic initiatives, forging key partnerships, and identifying growth opportunities that support the long-term vision and expansion of the company.

Santiago Quiroz, Jr.
SVP, Facilities
Santiago Quiroz, Jr. brings over 20 years of experience to his role as SVP, Facilities at CLS Living. Mr. Quiroz began his career as a maintenance technician and most recently served as District Maintenance Director at Holiday Retirement, overseeing multi-state compliance, safety, and preservation programs. He brings experience in maintenance, asset preservation, and capital planning.
At CLS, Mr. Quiroz is responsible for overseeing all facilities management functions, including capital projects, maintenance operations, and asset preservation across the portfolio.

Michael Ledet
SVP, Property Accounting
Michael Ledet brings over 14 years of accounting experience to his role as SVP, Property Accounting at CLS Living. He started his career at American Campus Communities, advancing to Director of Property Accounting.
At CLS, Mr. Ledet is responsible for overseeing property-level financial reporting and leading initiatives to streamline accounting processes through enhanced tools, systems, and procedures.

Robert Ferrara
SVP, Finance
Robert Ferrara brings over 15 years of experience in finance and asset management to his role as SVP, Finance at CLS Living. He has overseen acquisitions and management of more than 60,000 beds valued at over $4 billion. Prior to CLS, Mr. Ferrara held asset management roles with Campus Realty Advisors, American Campus Communities, and Capstone.
At CLS, Mr. Ferrara is responsible for overseeing corporate finance, budgeting, and forecasting, while supporting strategic planning and capital allocation across the organization.
He holds a B.A. from the University of Alabama-Birmingham and a Master’s in Real Estate Development from Auburn University.

Erin Mahone
SVP, Innovation & Implementation
Erin Mahone brings over 15 years of experience to her role as SVP, Innovation and Implementation at CLS Living. She has served in diverse roles from Leasing Professional to Regional and National Training Support.
At CLS, Mrs. Mahone specializes in training and customer experience and is certified by Forbes Travel Guide. She developed CLS’s proprietary 5-Star Service Training platform, which integrates luxury hospitality standards into residential property management.
At CLS, Mrs. Mahone is responsible for leading innovation and implementation efforts, driving process improvements, and introducing strategic solutions that enhance operational efficiency and performance.

Jason French
SVP, Property Accounting
Jason French brings more than 25 years of experience to his role as SVP, Accounting at CLS Living. Previously, he spent a decade as VP, Financial Reporting at American Campus Communities, where he led the consolidation and SEC reporting functions, managed financial audit and quarterly review activities, and oversaw technical accounting research.
At CLS, Mr. French is responsible for overseeing property-level financial reporting, technical accounting research, strategic planning, and treasury management.
Mr. French earned a Master's in Professional Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin and BBA in Finance from the University of Houston. He is also a certified public accountant.

Heather Tobey brings more than 20 years of accounting and systems experience to her role as VP, Systems and Support at CLS Living. Previously, Ms. Tobey served as Accounts Payable Supervisor at American Campus Communities.
At CLS, Ms. Tobey, a Legacy Award recipient, oversees in-house Utility Billing Services and Support Systems and leads transition efforts for all acquisitions and dispositions. She acts as a liaison between departments, ensuring seamless system onboarding, vendor coordination, and operational integration.

Travis W. Downing
VP, Corporate Accounting & Investor Relations
Travis Downing brings over 15 years of experience to his role as VP, Corporate Accounting & Investor Relations at CLS Living. Mr. Downing specializes in tax strategy, financial reporting, and treasury management. Mr. Downing began his career in taxation and later transitioned to private equity real estate, overseeing all financial operations for a real estate development firm.
At CLS, Mr. Downing leads corporate accounting functions and investor communications, ensuring regulatory compliance, strategic planning, and fiscal stewardship. He holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Accounting from St. Edward’s University and is a licensed tax professional.

Ron Bright

Ron Bright brings more than 15 years of experience to his role as RVP, Operations at CLS Living. Previously, Mr. Bright held positions ranging from General Manager to Senior Regional Director.

Amanda Guillory

Jeffery Butler

Jeff Butler brings more than 20 years of experience to his role as Manager, Accounts Payable at CLS Living. Previously, Mr. Butler served as a Chief Logistics Specialist in the United States Navy.
At CLS, Mr. Butler oversees invoice processing and vendor payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. He manages the Accounts Payable team, maintains internal controls, and monitors vendor accounts to support financial reporting. He also works cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies and enhance payment processes.

Shweta Patel
Manager, Corporate Accounting
Shweta Patel brings more than 11 years of experience to her role as Manager, Corporate Accounting at CLS Living. Previously, Mrs. Patel held roles as an Accountant and Assistant Controller in the hospitality industry.
At CLS, Mrs. Patel is responsible for corporate financial activities, investor relations, treasury management, and funding of both property and corporate payroll. She also oversees aspects of corporate accounting while providing leadership and guidance to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Mrs. Patel holds a Master of Business Administration in Accounting from Dallas Baptist University.

Scott Puntenney

At CLS, Mr. Puntenney leads the development and oversight of data infrastructure, ensuring accurate and accessible data for every property in the portfolio. By aligning data strategy with organizational goals, he plays a key role in enhancing performance visibility and driving data-informed decision-making across the company.

Jesus Acosta

Jesus Acosta brings years of experience to his role as Manager, Systems and Support at CLS Living. Previously, Mr. Acosta held several management roles focused on improving business operations.
At CLS, Mr. Acosta is responsible for managing operational systems across the portfolio, streamlining processes, and supporting cross-functional teams. He serves as the primary point of contact for system-related issues and technical support, bridging the gap between corporate teams, property staff, and third-party IT providers.

Maria Plueger

Maria Plueger brings more than 10 years of experience to her role as Manager, Support & Special Projects at CLS Living. Previously, Ms. Plueger held several leadership positions from Assistant General Manager to Operational Systems & Support Specialist.

Paige Millard

Paige Millard brings more than 13 years of experience to her role as Manager, Utility Billing Services at CLS Living. Previously, Ms. Millard held several on-site leadership positions leading up to Assistant General Manager.
At CLS, Ms. Millard is responsible for managing utility invoices and vendor relationships, processing and reviewing resident utility billbacks, and serving as a liaison between residents and utility providers.
